So i had a question about finding a sound card last night so i could get the manufacturer to download a new driver for it since it wasn't working… Now i have my friends computer here still and need to connct to my wireless internet connection through his computer. Does any one know how to set up the internet connection?!

Since you mention a sound card, I assume you have a desktop computer. If it's a laptop made within the past 2-3 years, it already has wireless built in and is ready to go. Desktops are a different matter.
Assuming you have wireless signals where your computer is located (easiest way to do this is to bring a new-ish laptop to the same place and turn it on. Within a few seconds, it will tell you if you have any signals, how strong they are and if they're password protected).
If you have a signal you can tap into, then you need a wireless Ethernet card. You can get these on-line or at a computer store for from $10 to $50. You will have to remove the cover from your computer, put in the card and load the software. Read the instructions first, as many cards tell you to put in the software first, turn off the computer, put in the card and then re-boot.
Once you have done all of this, when you re-boot, open the card's software, find and log onto the strongest signal you have and set this as the default. From then on, whenever you boot, this connection will be made automatically.
